FF Friday: In Which I Show How Shallow I Truly Am

Feature & Follow is a weekly blog hop hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This week is all about beautiful book covers.

I judge books by their covers all the time. If a book has an intriguing cover, I will definitely read the synopsis. Here are some covers that caught my attention and made me spend my money.

What is your favorite book cover?

The follow part of FF Friday: If you are a book blogger and you leave a link to your blog in the comments below, I will follow you on Bloglovin’. 3. Haha if judging a book by its cover is shallow, then I guess I'm guilty too! I read some of these books for their covers alone - A Madness So Discreet and Illuminae were my favorites from the ones I read, though unfortunately, Walk On Earth A Stranger was a bit of a disappointment.

Also, I love your blog! I just followed you on Goodreads, Bloglovin', and Twitter :)

  4. I don't even bother pretending not to judge books by their covers. I have no shame!! :-)

By the way, hope you're having a wonderful birthday!!!

  5. I judge books by their covers too, haha. If I see a pretty cover I will always read the blurb. These are all so pretty. I LOVE the A Madness So Discreet cover. And Illuminae because that book owns my heart.

  6. I judge books by their covers all the time. I love a pretty cover and I am much more likely to take a second look at a book with a cover that I like. I think it is only natural. I really like all of the covers that you picked but Walk on Earth a Stranger is my favorite.

  8. You're definitely not the only one to only read a synopsis if the cover is intriguing enough to interest you O.o some of these did just that including A Madness so Discreet!

  9. Definitely have to second The Night Circus, for real. Such a great collection of gorgeous covers.

I found We Are Pirates accidentally last year during my birthday month and had to buy it immediately. Ignoring for a moment that the author, Daniel Handler, is an auto-buy for me anyway, the cover definitely made me do it. The entire naked hardcover is a debossed ship and water design and there's silver foil and color and...gah! I just couldn't help myself.

  11. This is a great list and you have a variety of style in the covers you choose. I actually really want to get a copy of Furiously Happy (because I think that raccoon is adorable, but hopefully the story is also good). I'm glad we share a love for The Night Circus cover too. Thanks for stopping over my blog and for the follow, I am following you back on Bloglovin. :-)
